# Controls

> A short summary of how MISSIN keeps your data safe: encryption, separate workspaces, limited access, sign-in, backups, payments and reporting.

## Encryption

- Every connection to MISSIN is encrypted with HTTPS.
- The credentials for the stores and tools you connect are encrypted when they are stored.

## Your workspace is kept apart

- Each workspace's data is kept apart from every other workspace's in the database itself.

## Access

- Access to production systems and data is limited to the people who need it.
- You sign in through our identity provider, with a password or a Google account. MISSIN never sees or stores your password.

## Backups

- MISSIN's database is backed up with scheduled snapshots, and production data is never copied into another environment.

## Payments

- Card payments are taken by [Stripe](https://docs.missin.co.uk/integrations/stripe.md). MISSIN never sees or stores your card number.

## Reporting a vulnerability

- Email info@missin.co.uk with what you found and how to reproduce it. Please give us a chance to fix it before you share it.
